George Porter and the Runnin’ Pardners with special guest Maggie Rose – Maple Leaf Bar, New Orleans

It was such a pleasure to get to see the lovely Maggie Rose join George Porter, Michael Lemmler, Chris Adkins, and Terrence Houston at their Monday night at the leaf during the Jazzfest. The Maple Leaf bar just celebrated their 50th anniversary as a cornerstone venue for New Orleans music. George Porter and the Runnin’ Pardners can usually be found there on Monday nights for a show or two unless they are on the road. Maggie Rose is a stellar talent that I loved getting to photograph a few times during Jazzfest – and caught her performing here in Asheville recently – she is awesome! Be sure to go see all of this talent if you get the chance. They tour all over, so be sure to check out their tour schedule to catch a show near you.
