Portrait of an artist and horses - Cathleen Klibanoff equine session - Tryon Portrait Photography

It is an honor to get to share portraits of an extremely talented artist and dear friend, Cathleen Klibanoff. When she reached out about a vision of an equine session to help promote her new horse inspired work, I knew Lauren Bergrud was exactly who I needed to ask to about lining up our four legged models. Lauren is one of the most talented horse trainers as well as an amazing artist, motorcycle racing (and rebuilding!) vixen, and gorgeous model as well that I was lucky to meet when shooting for Blue Ridge Motorcycling Magazine years back. I was so excited for these two ladies to meet each other and could not wait to spend some time with Lauren’s horses, Rocco and Beloved.

We had a perfect morning for the session, Cathleen’s fashion (as always!) was on point, and the horses were being fabulous models. This was one of my favorite sessions for so many reasons and I am ecstatic to share some of our favorite images of the magic captured.
